ABOUT US

We strive to create a supportive and stable environment

Who We Are

Elevation House Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) organization committed to addressing the issue of housing insecurity in our communities. We believe that every person deserves a safe and secure place to call home, and we work tirelessly to provide shared community and transitional or permanent residential housing for those in need. By offering a range of housing options, we strive to create a supportive and stable environment that allows individuals and families to regain their footing and build a better future.

We Understand

We understand that housing insecurity can have a profound impact on every aspect of a person's life. Without a stable home, it can be difficult to maintain employment, access education and healthcare, and build meaningful relationships. That's why we focus not just on providing housing, but on creating a supportive community that encourages growth and healing. Our residents have access to a range of resources and services designed to help them address the root causes of their housing insecurity and work towards long-term stability.

We  Believe

We believe that every person has the potential to thrive given the right support and opportunities. That's why Elevation House Foundation is committed to providing not just housing, but a path towards self-sufficiency and empowerment. By working closely with our residents, we help them identify their goals and develop the skills and resources needed to achieve them. Whether through education and job training, financial counseling, or mental health services, we are dedicated to helping those in our community build a better future.

The Model We Use for Shared Housing

At Elevation House Foundation, we are proud to follow the Kate's House Foundation Model for shared housing. This nationally certified model was developed by Frank and Sherri Candelario, Ph.D., who have dedicated their careers to using housing to change lives. Their model has been recognized by Kevin Harrington of "Shark Discoveries" and has been promoted to help set a national standard for sober homes.

Sherri Candelario, Ph.D. is a respected expert in the field of addiction and recovery. She received her degree from the University of Washington Medical School and has authored pioneering research papers on opioids and blockers. She is also the founding patent counsel for numerous biotech companies that have gone public or merged. Frank Candelario has a background in international marketing and branding, as well as real estate brokerage and investment. Together, they have used their expertise to develop a model of shared housing that is based on compassion, mutual support, and individual growth.

The Kate's House Model

The Kate's House Foundation Model is focused on providing superior shared housing that is funded by government contracts. Their homes were the first Medically Assisted Treatment homes in Washington state, and they have since spoken and trained people all over the country to replicate their model. Sherri sits on the advisory board to the legislature as a subject matter expert on recovery homes and co-chairs a committee to propose recovery services for people. Their commitment to providing safe and supportive housing for those in recovery has made a meaningful impact on countless lives.

At Elevation House Foundation, we are proud to follow the Kate's House Foundation Model and are committed to providing the best possible shared housing experience for our clients. Through our partnership with the Candelarios and their nationally recognized model, we are able to provide a level of care and support that is unparalleled in the field of shared housing.
